Following the success of our Drone team last term, a team of Earlscliffe Scientists have again been awarded a Crest Silver Award, this time for an in-depth study into a ‘Modern practical application of a Tesla Coil.
The team of Flaminia Liguori, Aleksandrs and Mihails Zaslavskis worked tirelessly on the award, and given the fact that the students are all currently studying remotely, this is even more impressive.
The Physics based project was looking at circuit technology and it’s aim was to look at the development of wireless technology throughout history. Earlscliffe is incredibly proud of all of our students, and the efforts that they are putting in to remain positive during this lockdown period, but we also insist that our students continue to develop their skills and learning outside of the classroom. With our track record of helping students reach their first choice University, we are delighted that these students are continuing Earlscliffe’s fine tradition of independent research and self-development.
Well done to everyone involved.
