Earlscliffe celebrates Scotland at Burns Night dinner

The first formal dinner of this Hilary Term celebrated the culture of Scotland and its national poet, Robert Burns.  The dinner took the format of a traditional candle-lit Burns Night, complete with a piper, recitations and plenty of haggis.  Students from Year 12 and the ITY year attended, along with the Head Girl and Head Boy.  At the end of the dinner, the piper played a selection of traditional Scottish melodies in the lobby of the main building, providing an evocative end to a memorable evening.
